In this story, it is about an army of wild cats sneaking into a creamery to eat ice-cream. When they had finished and were on their way out, they froze and collapsed just outside the creamery due to the extreme weather. Fortunately, someone who came back for a forgotten turned-on-stove found them and rescued them from the freeze. However, in a turn of event, the rescuer met into danger and the cats played heroes for brief moments only to end up putting their lives in danger again (but for a good cause this time).

This is just one of the books in a series about the misadventures of an army of wild cats.

The series follows a formulaic story plot in which the wild cats get into trouble out of their curiosity, greed or simply for fun sake, and they would then be discovered, reprimanded and sent for a corrective work order.

As a result of their misdemeanor (or mishaps), the scenes of the picture book would turn into a hilarious mess.

A very humorous book to read and enjoy its cute illustration together with your children while pointing out the importance of correcting our wrongdoings. Even though the formula for the plot runs through the series, it still makes an interesting read because it is intriguing to see how the author was able to spin different settings into a very similar story flow. 这个野猫军团系列（共5册），是关于一群好奇心满满的小野猫的捣蛋记事。

这个系列的故事情节有个一定的公式，那就是野猫因为好奇，贪吃或贪玩，遇上麻烦，被发现后，受责备及接受劳改。

在这册里，因贪吃，他们偷偷潜入了冰淇淋工厂偷吃冰淇淋。他们刚吃完, 正想离开时，却被寒冷恶劣的天气冻僵瘫倒在地上。幸好，被一个工厂的职员的孩子回返那里查看烧水壶的火时发现，然后被急救。不料，故事忽然间有个转折，职员的孩子遇到危险，一瞬间，野猫当起了英雄来救他，却让他们自己又陷入危险状况。

就这样，在他们捣蛋（遇难）的当儿，闹出了许多好玩又爆笑的情景。

一本能让孩子们在欣赏作者幽默笔风和可爱的绘图时，学习做了错事悔改并用劳改赔不是。虽然整个系列的故事情节重复性的使用一定的公式，但是仍然百看不厌，因为你可看到作者怎样取巧的用不一样的故事背景，来带出她所想成就的故事情节。
