We bought this book when we were preparing our eldest daughter for the arrival of her sister. Like most parents’ intention, we were keen to introduce and create excitement for the elder to take on the role and responsibility of being the elder.

But because of the way that this picture book is crafted, it is such a delight to read it even until now that one is eight years old and the other is five years old. I think it is because, not only does it carry much truth and reality when one is welcoming a newborn, thus bringing back memories of the times when we had a newborn, but, it also carried many hopes of the loving sibling relationship that you wish for your children to have.

Recommended for parents who have more than one child in whichever season of their life. Also possible as a nice gift for siblings.
